Welcome from the Roanoke Valley Estate Planning Council!
The Roanoke Valley Estate Planning Council is a non-profit, multi-disciplinary organization of professionals actively engaged in estate planning. Our membership consists of attorneys, trust officers, accountants, life underwriters, certified financial planners, and college development officers, as well as other allied professionals engaged in estate planning.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of October, November, February, March, and May. Meetings include a social hour, dinner and a guest speaker and are held at The Shenandoah Club in Roanoke. The social hour usually begins at 5:30 pm.
The Roanoke Valley Estate Planning Council is a member of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated local estate planning councils focused on establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards.
Roanoke Valley Estate Planning Council is affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and joining can fulfill the requirement of belonging to an affiliated local estate planning council to become an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee.
