About Colleen L. Byers, JD, MBA, ACC
A seasoned business, trust, estate and fiduciary litigator and experienced collaborative law attorney, Colleen focuses her mediation practice on resolving complex business, trust, estate, and fiduciary disputes. Colleen is triple certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission (DRC) to mediate Superior Court, Family Financial, and matters pending before the Clerk of Superior Court. Colleen is also a neutral with National Arbitration and Mediation (NAM), a national panel of mediators and arbitrators.
Colleen is a sought-after thought leader who has been invited to speak and train locally, nationally, and globally on topics including mediation, collaborative negotiation, coaching for performance, and facilitating difficult conversations. Colleen has lectured at Wake Forest University School of Law, Campbell School of Law, Salem College, and Winston-Salem State University. Colleen is a mediation trainer with Carolina Dispute Settlement Services.
Colleen is proud to be a triple Blue Jay, having obtained a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Business Administration, and Juris Doctorate from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, North Carolina Super Lawyers, and Business North Carolina Legal Elite, Young Guns. In 2020, Colleen was named Lawyer of the Year by NC Lawyers Weekly. Colleen is accredited as an Associate Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation, and is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher.

If you require a vegetarian or other special diet meal, then please note such with your RSVP online in "Special Requests" area or you may be charged extra for any changes made at the meeting.
GUESTS: The guest fee is $35. Guests must be registered in advance by a member. Guests who are in good standing at another region's Estate Planning Council must register, but are not required to be sponsored by a member.
CANCELLATIONS must be received by e-mail as noted above by 12 Noon, Monday, March 3rd. Failure to cancel by this date will cause you to be assessed a late penalty of $35.00
